Critic is a simple way to track what you love — and give credit to the people who put you onto it.
SMS notifications
Critic, a product of Casting Stats LLC (formerly BlueQuincy LLC), sends optional transactional SMS text messages about recommendations, sparks, and account activity. These messages are triggered by user activity and are never promotional.

User consent
During onboarding, after phone verification, users are shown an unchecked consent checkbox alongside the following exact text:
“I agree to receive transactional SMS text messages from Critic, a product of Casting Stats LLC (formerly BlueQuincy LLC), about recommendations, sparks, and account activity. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
The checkbox is never pre-checked. Consent is optional, is not a condition of using Critic, and is separate from the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Users may decline or skip and continue using the product normally.
